How are we bringing our unconscious to our consciousness? This is important if we are to see our conditioning, and how we are not merely our conditioned selves . . . How do each of us do this?

Re: From Unconscious to Conscious
Sun, April 22, 2007 - 10:32 PMPerhaps we should deal with the unconcious as it is without trying to bring it or move it anywhere. To me the unconcious comes up as a jumbled mess, without much logic, or continuity. Strong feelings, images, voice, etc. underlying regular concious thought, but a part of it an and influencing it to some degree. It really seems to quieten down when I let go of the need for continuity, order, and logic and just observe the commotion with interest and curiousity. The biggest mistake i've made is trying to be separte from it, rather than feeling it and following each random thought, emotion. Really, I agree with Krishnamurti, that there is really no difference between the two. We usually over emphasise the concious which we structure through discipline to provide some concious order. And it is frightening to let the unconcious be just as present as the concious, since it has such a random, reactive nature...
